Cookable

Descripción

The innovative programme presented by Iñaki Urrutia will star eight young people with disabilities who will have just six weeks to train as real members of staff in a restaurant.

During the programme, the participants will face the biggest challenge of their lives, in which they will have to overcome obstacles, acquire values and skills that are essential to all professional kitchens, and then, prove themselves in a grand finale. They will do all of this with the help of two expert mentors; Luisa López and Iñaki Andradas, who will be the teachers, guides, confidants and judges of our stars.

The eight apprentices – Alex, Igone, Julen, Leire, Lucía, Mikel, Saioa and Sergio – will be taught and live together during their period of training in a modern school surrounded by nature, where they will take cooking workshops given by the chef Iñaki Andradas, and workshops on service and etiquette with Luisa López. At the same school, the apprentices will live together and discuss their impressions.

In each programme, they will also be in outdoor locations in Euskadi and Navarra for the final tests, where they will have to join several working teams and experience everyday situations related to other groups of different people.

In addition, each programme will have renowned special guests to give masterclasses and lessons on perseverance through their own personal stories. They will tell the apprentices about the barriers they have come up against in their life and how they got through them.
